RESOLUTION N0. 6628
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF AZUSA, COMMENDING COLDWELL,
BANKER FOR THE RECENT REMODELING OF THE
FOOTHILL SHOPPING CENTER.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve
as follows:
WHEREAS, Coldwell, Banker recently undertook a major
remodeling of its Foothill Shopping Center,
and
WHEREAS, from an appearance of aging decay the center
has been transformed to a pleasant, bustling,
and dynamic shopping area, and
WHEREAS, all this was done of Coldwell, Banker's own
volition, as an expression of continuing
faith in the City of Azusa through its further
investment of effort and money in the center,
and
WHEREAS, other businesses in the City should take note
and proceed using Coldwell, Banker's lead as
a model.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, tYa t the City Council of
the City of Azusa unite in commending Coldwell, Banker for
its timely and vital action, and looking to the future
expects that the commercial sector will take whatever
steps are required to revive in the City of Azusa the
image of a bright and progressive City.
Adopted and Approved this 21st day of February.
1978.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of
February, 1978, by the following vote of Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Solem
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: Arkison
