HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 66130 RESOLUTION NO. 6613 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING FIRE CHIEF TORRANCE FOR HIS OUTSTANDING YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITY. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, Robert Torrance came to work for the City of Azusa as a Fireman on February 17, 1948, and has worked uninterruptedly for the City of Azusa, to the present, and WHEREAS, during this time he has served as a permanent model of professionally competent leadership and awareness, not only to members of his profession, but, for all who live and work in the City of Azusa, and WHEREAS, "Bob" besides all of his sterling professional qualities has been a good responsive and interested citizen of the City, and counts many friends within its boundaries, and WHEREAS, he has submitted his resignation for the purpose of retirement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa collectively extends its extreme regrets at losing the services of such a fine employee, and also warmly thanks "Bob" for his unselfish service and further extends, on behalf of the citizens of the City of Azusa, its sincerest and warmest expression of gratitude for a job well done.
