HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 67300 0 RESOLUTION NO. 6730 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING RESO- LUTION NO. 6673 AND ESTABLISHING A SANITARY SEWER SERVICE CHARGE TO BE IT"POSED UPON PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa on June 19, 1978, adopted Resolution No. 6678 establishing a sanitary sewer service charge to be imposed upon property within the City; and WHEREAS, a more equitable means of imposing the sewer service charge upon commercial and industrial users within the City has been developed based upon a variable charge imposed for each employee of such industrial or commer- cial user; and WHEREAS, a delay in implementation of the sanitary sewer service charge to July 1, 1979 is desirable. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of. the Citv of Azusa, California, does herebv resolve, declare, and order as follows: SECTION 1. Resolution No. 6678 is herebv rescinded. SECTION 2. There is herebv established a sanitary sewer service charge to be imposed upon all nroperty within the City on the following basis: (a) Each residential unit shall pay a charge of $2.00 per month. (b) Each industrial or commercial unit, other than laundromats, shall pay a minimum charge of $5.00 per month for the first five employees of such unit plus 250, per month for each employee over five with a $100.00 maximum. (c) Each laundromat shall Day a charge of $1.0.00 per month. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be effective as of July 1, 1979. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of the Resolution. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 18th day of December, 1978. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusaat a regular meeting held on the 18th day of December, 1978, by the following vote of Council: AYES: Councilmen: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Moses, Solem NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: None CITY CLERK
