HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 67960 0 RESOLUTION NO. 6796 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6730 TO DEFER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE SANITARY SEWER SERVICE CHARGE TO BE IMPOSED UPON PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa on June 19, 1978, adopted Resolution No. 6678 establish- ing a sanitary sewer service charge to be imposed upon property within the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa on December 18, 1978, adopted Resolution No. 6730 revising the sanitary sewer service charge and deferring its effective date. WHEREAS, a further delay in implementation of the sanitary sewer service charge to July 1, 1980, is desirable. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa, California, does hereby resolve, declare, and order as follows: SECTION 1. The sanitary sewer service charge imposed upon all property within the City by Resolution No. 6678 and modified by Resolution 6730 is hereby deferred in implementation until July 1, 1980. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of the Resolution. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of June , 1979. MAYOR I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the 6th day of June, 1979, by the following vote of Council: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Decker, Fry, Moses, Solem NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Cruz i CITY CLERK 0 RESOLUTION NO. 6795 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ESTABLISHING THE FEE FOR THE COLLECTION OF RUBBISH FROM RESIDENTIAL UNITS. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Resolution No. 6674, as amended by Resolution No. 6729 is hereby amended as follows: SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 7.08.080 of the Azusa Municipal Code, the fee for providing and making available a service for the collection of rubbish from residential units within the City is hereby fixed at $3.50 per residential unit, effective July 1, 1979, SECTION 3. Pursuant to Section 7.08.080 of the Azusa Municipal Code, the fee for providing and making available a service for the collection of rubbish from residential units within the City is hereby fixed at $5.00 per residential unit, effective July 1, 1980. SECTION 4. Section 2 of this Resolution shall be effective for the billing period commencing on and after July 1, 1979. SECTION 5. Section 3 of this Resolution shall be effective for the billing period commencing on and after July 1, 1980. SECTION 6. Resolution No. 6729 is hereby rescinded. SECTION 7. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. 1979. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1.
