HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 67440 0 RESOLUTION NO. 6744 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That certain Grant of Easement executed by Calmark Properties, Inc. under date of 2nd day of January 1979 , granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for underground utilities in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: SEE ATTACHMENT A Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the some to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. Adopted and approved this 15th day of January 19,79 May of the City of Azusa — I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 15th day of January e , 1979 y t following vote of the CouncTF— AYES: COUNCILMEN: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Moses, Solem NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None ity Clerk of the City of Azusa That portion of lot 14 of Tract No. 33743 in the City of Azusa, County of Los Angeles, State of California, per map filed in Book 888 Pages 55 and 56 of maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county being described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of said lot 14, distant thereon south 0°01'48" west 15.00 feet from the northwest corner of said lot 14; thence parallel with the northerly line of said list 14, south 89°35'01 " east a distance of 35.00 feet; thence north 33°50' 17" east 17.97 feet to a point on the said northerly line, said point being distant thereon south 89°35'01" east 45.00 feet from the said northwest corner; thence along the said northerly line south 89°35'01" east 99.04 feet to the northeast corner of said lot 14; thence along the easterly line of said lot 14 south 0°01'48" west 5.00 feet to a line parallel with and distant 5.00 feet measured at right angles from the said northerly line; thence along said parallel line north 89°35'01 " west 96.38 feet to a point on a line parallel to and distant 5.00 feet measured at tight angles from that course hereinbefore described as bearing north 33°50'17" east 17.97 feet; thence along said parallel line south 33°50'17" west 16.77 feet to a point on a line parallel to and distant 4.00 feet measured at right angles from that course hereinbefore described as south 89°35'01" east 35.00 feet; thence along said parallel line north 89°35'01"west 13.33 feet to a point on a line parallel to and distant 25.00 feet from the said westerly line of lot 14; thence along said parallel line south 0°01'48" west 1.00 feet to a point on a line parallel with and distant 5.00 feet measured at right angles from that course hereinbefore described as south 89°35'01" east 35.00 feet; thence along said parallel line north 89°35'01" west 25.00 feet to the westerly line of said lot 14; thence north 0°01'48" east 5.00 feet to the point of beginning. Said parcel being shown on exhibit a which is attached and hereby made a part.
