The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular session at the above
time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Roll call.
McIntire, Carr, Arnold, Chester, Morden,
City Attorney and City Clerk.

The minutes of the last regular meeting Minutes approved.
of April 20th, the regular adjourned
meetings of April 24th and 29, 1936,
were read and approved as read.
A communication from Richard Graves, Communication read.

Municipalities, relative to the In Lieu
Tax, was read and ordered placed on
file.
A request made by Frank Sehio to operate Request to operate

The Ellis Neon Company offered to service Ellis Neon Company
the "Azusa" Neon Sign at the intersection to service Neon
of Foothill Boulevard and Azusa Avenue, Sign for x$7.50
at the rate of $7.50 per month. per month.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by
Councilman Carr that the Council accept
this offer.
Carried by the following vote of the
Council:

Arnold, Chester, Morden.

Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by
Councilman Chester that the Council
enter executive session for 15 minutes.
At the end of that period the meeting
was resumed.
Councilman Carr offered a Resolution
entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
' CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIF-
ORNIA, APPOINTING ALBERT H. MILLER CITY
ATTORNEY AND FIXING HIS SALARY OR COM-
PENSATION.
Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by
Councilman McIntire that this Resolution
be adopted as read and numbered Resolution
No. 1492.

Council:

Arnold, Chester, Morden.
