HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 68450 e RESOLUTION NO. 6845,. 4 A RESOLUTION;OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING RITA O'LEARY FOR HER SERVICES TO THE CITY OF AZUSA. WHEREAS, our City Library has been well staffed by excellently prepared and experienced personnel, and WHEREAS, the forefront of these outstanding employees has been the permanent place of a self-effacing, modest, but highly competent person, Mrs. RITA O'LEARY, and WHEREAS, since her employment, fourteen years ago, on June 28, 1965, she has considerably brightened the Library, and WHEREAS, Library patrons, as well as staff members, over the years, have highly commended Mrs. O'Leary for her unselfish concern in aiding all who have needed her assistance and cooperation, and WHEREAS, Rita is now leaving City employment for a richly deserved retirement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa, unites in extending to Mrs. O'LEARY its sincerely felt commendation for all that she has contributed to the City and its residents, and further wishes her a full and happy future. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 15th day of October, 1979. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 15th day of October, 1979, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Moses, Solem NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None City Clerk
