HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 68420 0 RESOLUTION NO. 6842 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That certain Grant of Easement executed by Lewis Development Co. under date of 19th -day of Sertenber 19 79, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for underground utilities n, on, over, under, across and along the following aescribed real property situate in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: SEE ATTACHMENT A Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the some to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. Adopted and approved this 1st day of October 19 79 . the Uty at AZUSa I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a repular meeting thereof, held on the 1st day of October , , y t e following vote of the CouncTe AYES: COUNCILMEN: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Moses, Solem NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None 4f�,9' Cit Clerk of the City of Azusa 0 0 That portion of the West half of the North 30 acres of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 36, Township 1 North, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in the City of Azusa, accord- ing to the official plat thereof, described as follows: The Southerly 6 feet of the following described property: Beginning at a point in the Southerly line of the Northerly 50.00 feet of said West half, distant Easterly thereon 193.00 feet from the intersection of said Southerly line with the Easterly line of Calera Avenue as described in the deed to the City of Azusa, recorded on September 17,1963 as Instrument No. 4032, in Book D2185 Page 204 of Official Records, in said Office of the County Recorder; thence Easterly along said Southerly line a distance of 446.14 feet to the Easterly line of said West half; thence Southerly along said Easterly line, a distance of 582.47 feet to the Northerly line of the one foot wide strip of land described in the Deed to the City of Azusa recorded on September 17, 1963 as Instrument No. 4034 in Book D 2185, Page 210 of said Official Records; thence Westerly along said Northerly line to a line parallel with said Westerly line of the West half and which passes through the point of beginning; thence Northerly along said last mentioned parallel line to the point of beginning.
