HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 6823RESOLUTION No. 6823 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING PAUL MENDOZA FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF AZUSA WHILE A MEMBER OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION. WHEREAS, Abraham Lincoln rightly said, "Let us have faith that right makes might, and in that faith let us, to the end, dare to do our duty as we understand it", and WHEREAS, the above characterizes PAUL MENDOZA Derfectly; he has served faithfully and well since June 3, 1970, when he was appointed to the Planning Commission, and WHEREAS, often, this service has caused him great problems in his business and personal life; however, in spite of whatever situation he faced, he could always be counted upon to investigate planning matters thoroughly and then render an objective and just decision; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa, acting in unison concerning recognition of the many instances in which PAUL brought rare and sorely needed technical and social insights to the Planning Commission function, commends him highly and wishes him the best of good fortune in all that he may attempt in the future, happily knowing that he will continue to assist this City whenever.and wherever possible.
