A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING
CHARLES RAY HARDY FOR HIS SERVICE
TO THE CITY OF AZUSA
The City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, No matter how deeply and widely the Human
Mind fathoms and scans, only Mankind is
found to fully understand the true serenity,
contentment..and importance of leisure, and
WHEREAS, Beneath the flowered arbor and the leafy
bough, he has reached an ever-expanding
knowledge ,of the reason 'for,' and the
ultimate -scope of his existance, and
WHEREAS, Charles Ray Hardy."since August 29, 1963,
when he entered into employment with the
City,:has well -and faithfully performed his
duty,'atriving successfully to keep alive
the grassy nooks which provide timeless
repose and restoration of our spirit; thus
making•.tangible and maintaining the ongoing
and all too often fragile and diaphanous
worth of our universal values and verities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED., that the City Council of
the City of Azusa commends Charles for his unstinting
efforts for the betterment of the City and joins in wishing
him the very best of a long and richly deserved retirement.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of February,
1981.
