RESOLUTION NO. 7021
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF AZUSA DENYING A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT (CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CASE
NO. C 256 CONROCK COMPANY).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find
and determine that there was filed with the Planning
Commission the application of Conrock Company (Conditional
Use Permit Case No. C 256) requesting a Conditional Use
Permit to operate a concrete and concrete products
manufacturing operation in the M2 Zone on property located
at 791 North Todd Avenue; that a duly noticed public
hearing was held on said application by the Planning
Commission and that the Planning Commission approved said
Conditional Use Permit application; that the matter was
appealed by the City Council and a duly noticed public
hearing was held by the City Council on said appeal.
SECTION 2. After due notice and public
hearing the City Council finds:
A. The subject property is located at
791 North Todd Avenue, Azusa, and is zoned M2 (General
Manufacturing).
B. The subject property is presently
vacant. The surrounding area is developed with M2 uses.
C. The area of the subject property is
designated general manufacturing by the general plan.
D. The applicant failed to appear at the
hearing to present any evidence in support of its
application.
E. The public necessity, convenience,
welfare and good zoning practice do not require or
justify the issuance of the Conditional Use Permit applied
for herein.
SECTION 3. Based upon the foregoing findings,
Conditional Use Permit Case No. C 256 is hereby denied.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 20thday of July , 1981.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly adopted by the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 20hday of July , 1981, by the following
vote of the Council:
