A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA COMMENDING MARIE E. LUNNEMANN FOR
HER YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF AZUSA.
WHEREAS, MARIE LUNNEMANN has worked for the City since August
31, 1964, in the City Clerk's Office, diligently
keeping the archives of that office in chronological
order for any and all to peruse at a moment's notice,
and
WHEREAS, MARIE, also in conjunction with her duties, has seen
fit to keep the City's coffers flourishing, while she
painstakingly wrote receipts and permits for funds
received, and
WHEREAS, this service has, over the years, proved to be invaluable
for two main reasons: as a touchstone of enduring
constancy in government, and as an always reliable and
dependable co-worker, and
WHEREA, MARIE has now decided to retire to a life of ease, with
travelling from one exotic port to another, as one
of the objectives she'has chosen to pursue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Azusa, recognizing the profuse.abundance of benefits accruing
from having this outstanding employee serving the City and its
residents, adds its commendation to MARIE for her excellence as
an employee, and as a friend; furthermore, it collectively extends
its best wishes for a long and enjoyable retirement.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of July, 1981.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a regular
meeting thereof, held on the 20th day of July, 1981, by the following
vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Decker, Fry, Cruz, Moses, Solem
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
