HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 7002RESOLUTION NO. 7002 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, CHANGING CERTAIN STREET NAMES. WHEREAS, the City Council referred to the Planning Commission for consideration the.change of certain street names; and WHEREAS, the PlanningCommission gave notice to property owners on North Street from the westerly city boundary to its easterly terminus and of South Street from the easterly terminus of North Street to its southerly terminus and a hearing was held; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended that the name of North Street be changed to Optical Drive and the name of South Street be changed to Aerojet Avenue. 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The official designation and name for North Street from the westerly city boundary.to its easterly terminus within the City is hereby changed to Optical Drive SECTION 2. The official designation and name for South Street from the easterly terminus of North Street to its southerly terminus within the City is hereby changed to Aerojet Avenue. SECTION 3. The Clerk is directed to send a copy of this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles and to the Post Master of the Post Office serving the City of Azusa. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. 1981.
