The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in Special Session at the above
time and place.

I hereby certify that I received the attached "NOTICE OF
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA" at
12:03 P. M. on the 30th day of November, 1936 and that I
served the same on the hereinafter named persons, who are
members of the City Council of said City of Azusa, at the time
set after their respective names, by personally delivering to

Councilman Chester offered a Resolution
entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC NECESSITY
ANP, CONVENIENCE REQUIRF. THAT CERTAIN STREETS
WITHINT SAID CITY BE IMPROVED, AND RE.UESTING
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY
TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS 'KITH 'R'HICH TO IMPROVE
SAID STREETS.
' Moved by Councilman Strohmeier, seconded by
Councilman McIntire that this.Resolution be
adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1511.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Strohmeier; McIntire,
Arnold, Chester, Carr.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by
Councilman Strohmeier that the Council adjourn.

TO 'AHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Special Meeting of the City
Council of the City of Azusa, State of California, is HEREBY
CALLED at the hour of 3:30 P. M. on Monday, November 30, 1936,
for the purpose of adopting a Resolution requesting the Board
of Supervisors of Los Angeles County to appropriate Funds to
improve certain streets within the City of Azusa.

Councilman Chester offered a Resolution

Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Coum ilman
Chester that the motion made and carried relative
to the Contract between the City of Azusa and the
Ellis Neon Company be rescinded and that the Mayor
and City Clerk be instructed and authorized to sign
` a contract between the City of Azusa and the-Ellis
Neon Company.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Strohmeier, McIntire, Arnold,
Chester, Carr.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
