RESOLUTION NO. 7304
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA ADOPTING THE GENERAL PLAN
OF THE CITY OF AZUSA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following revisions and amendments to the General Plan
of the City of Azusa were duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was
given and published, that public hearings were duly held by the Planning
Commission and the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare require that the following revisions and amendments to
the General Plan of the City of Azusa be made.
SECTION 2. The General Plan of the City of Azusa consisting
of the nine mandatory elements is hereby adopted. A copy of the General Plan
is one file in the office of the City Clerk and is, by this reference, incorporated
herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. The City Council does hereby find and declare
that the Assessment of the Environmental Impact Report approved by the Planning
Commission after notice and public hearing for the General Plan is adequate,
has been prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act
of 1970, as amended and the State Guidelines and is hereby adopted by the City
Council. The City Council does also find and declare that the component parts
of the General Plan, as amended, will enhance and protect the environment of
the City of Azusa.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 18th day of July, 1983.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 18th day of July 1983 by the following vote
of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: DECKER, HART, CRUZ, LATTA, MOSES
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
