RESOLUTION NO. 7269
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 7227 DELEGATING CERTAIN RESPONSI-
BILITIES REGARDING THE HANDLING AND
SETTLING OF TORT CLAIMS TO THE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR OR HIS DESIGNATED AGENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Government Code Section
935.4, the City Council may, by resolution, authorize an
employee of the City to perform the function of the City
Council with respect to the California Tort Claims Act,
Government Code Sections 990, et seq., except for the
allowance, compromise, or settlement of a claim in excess
of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000).
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby authorizes
the City Administrator or his designated agent to perform
all functions of the City Council required by the California
Tort Claims Act, Government Code Sections 990, et seq.,
except for the allowance, compromise or settlement of a claim
in excess of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000).
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of June 1983.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly adopted by the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 6th day of June 1983, by the
following vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: DECKER, HART, CRUZ, LATTA, MOSES
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
