OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING
GLENN BASHORE FOR HIS SERVICES
TO THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the tintinabulation of both juveniles and
adults availing themselves of the several recreational oases
located within our City, bears auditory witness to the contemporary
need for these refugees from the gowing menace of a stridently
harsh, increasing pervasive urban environment, and
WHEREAS, one of the key persons overseeing the
operation and accessibility of the Municipal Parks and Recreation
Program was
GLENN BASHORE
who served as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner from September
7th, 1967 to January 19th, 1984; to determine that Glenn's efforts
were successful, one need only to see the riant throngs daily
frequenting the City's Parks, notwithstanding climatic vicissitudes;

Council of the City of Azusa recognizing the important character
of service provided by the Parks and Recreation Commission, and
that it could not perform on the quintessential level that it does

the City.
