HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 74290 RESOLUTION NO. 7429 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA CONUMENDING JODY WATSON. WHEREAS, involvement, all too often in this hurried and jumbled world, is passed over or ignored for fear of consequential intangling compli- cations, and WHEREAS, despite opportunity for inaction, Nurse JODY WATSON recently saved the life of a fellow passenger on a flight from Boise, Idaho, and WHEREAS, the prompt and unhesitating application of cardiopulmonary resuscitation by this Azusa resident truly stands as an action of ideal concern for our neighbor's welfare; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa collectively extends its praise and commendation to JODY WATSON for her singularly unselfish action; it further recognizes the need for more examples of this nature to illustrate the need for concern and involvement for our welfare in common by mankind itself. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 21st day of February, 1984.
