HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 74010 0 RESOLUTION NO. 7401 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING JUNE W. HART FOR HER SERVICES TO THE CITY. WHEREAS, never one to remain in a permanently static role as housewife, JUNE W. HART in March of Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-two, formally entered into City service as a Planning Commissioner. From this, she was elected to the City Council where she served until Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-three, and WHEREAS, this, plus her other many activities over the years have all served to leave an enduring record of a person dedicated to the betterment of the community in which she and her family reside, and WHEREAS, life being a succession of abrupt changes in a generally vague heading, we must perforce adapt ourselves to what at times appears to be confused and inconcistent occurrences in some grand and vital plan, one that attains intelligibility only when viewed in retrospect; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Azusa unanimously commends JUNE W. HART for her services to the City of Azusa and its residents. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of January, 1984. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 3rd day of January, 1984, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: CRUZ, COOK, CAMARENA, LATTA, MOSES NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
