HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 73980 RESOLUTION NO. 7398 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING JOHN R. DANGLEIS FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY. WHEREAS, it is recognized that only a confirmed ergasiophobe would fail to appreciate the twenty-five years of dedicated public service provided by JOHN R. DANGLEIS to the City of Azusa, and WHEREAS, who could deny the wise man who said: "Behold, my children, the workman who planteth and tendeth the vineyard, for although a small portion of its fruit be sour, the major portion is both sweet and good for thee and thine; this is the way of God.", and WHEREAS, from this parable the full scope of appreciation due can be measured, and appropriate recognition and commendation extended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Azusa, joins in commending JOHN R. DANGLEIS for the dedicated service he provided to the City of Azusa during his twenty-five years of employment with the City. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of January, 1984.
