RESOLUTION NO. 7563
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA ADOPTING THE JOB SPECIFI-
CATIONS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CLERK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The job specifications for the classi-
fication of Community Development Clerk are hereby adopted
to read in accordance with Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 17th day of September, 1984.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular
meeting hereof held on the 17th day of September, 1984, by the fol-
lowing vote of the Council:

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CLERK Date adopted:
JOB SUMMARY
Under supervision, performs routine clerical and typing functions as related
to building permits, code enforcement, and legal notices.
Representative Duties
Accepts and types building permits for processing; files; prepares department payroll;
types and prepares legals for public hearings; identifies owners from Assessor's maps
and rolls; logs tree and street complaints; and prepares nuisance notices.
Organizational Responsibilities
Community Development Clerk is a one -position classification reporting to the Director
of Community Development/Planning.
QUALIFICATIONS GUIDE
Training and Experience
Graduation from high school or equivalent; and
One year general clerical experience. Specific experience relative to building permit
processing and filing and use of Assessor Parcel Rolls and maps preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of modern office methods and equipment. Knowledge and use of a word processor
desired.
Ability to perform clerical tasks; follow oral and written directions; spell and use proper
grammar; operate office equipment; deal effectively with city personnel and the general
public.
