RESOLUTION NO. 7698
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA TO EXECUTE TRAINING AGREEMENTS
BETWEEN THE CITY OF AZUSA AND THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF CALIFORNIA
HIGHWAY PATROL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1985-86.
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of
California Highway Patrol requires written training
agreements,from any agency participating in the training
programs, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the city of
Azusa desires from time to time to participate in
certain training programs sponsored and administered
by the Department of Highway Patrol, and
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of
the city of Azusa is required to authorize certain
officers of the Azusa Police Department to participate
in said training agreements for the 1985-86 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the city of Azusa that the City Administrator
of the city of Azusa be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to sign said training agreements when re-
quired for the fiscal year 1985-86 as long as the
amounts to be paid by the city of Azusa are within the
Police Department budget for said fiscal year.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution
was duly adopted by the City Council of the city of Azusa,
at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 6th day of
May 1985 by the following vote of the Council:
