APPROVING AND ACCEPTING NEGOTIATED EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY TAX
REVENUES RESULTING FROM ANNEXATION TO COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT
NO. 22 .
"ANNEXATION NO. 228 it
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 99 and 99.1 of the Revenue and
Taxation Code, prior to the effective date of any jurisdictional
change which will result in a special district providing a new
service, the governing bodies of all local agencies who receive
an apportionment of the property tax from the area must determine
the amount of property tax revenues from the annual tax increment
to be exchanged between the affected agencies and approve and
accept the negotiated exchange of property tax revenues by
resolution, and
WHEREAS, the governing bodies of the agencies signatory hereto
have made determinations of the amount of property tax revenues
from the annual tax increments to be exchanged as a result of the
annexation to County Sanitation District No. 22 entitled
"Annexation No. 228
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The negotiated exchange of property tax revenues resulting
from the annexation of territory to County Sanitation District
No. 22 in the annexation entitled "Annexation No. 228 " is
approved and accepted.

2. For each fiscal year commencing on and after July 1, 1985
or after the effective date of this jurisdictional change, which-
ever is later, the County Auditor shall transfer to County Sanitation
District No. 22. a total of __1,D424__7. of the Annual Tax Increment
attributable to the land area encompassed within Annexation No. 228 .
Said percentage.has.been.determined..on.the.basis of the

3. No additional transfer of property tax revenues shall be
made from any other taxing agencies to County Sanitation District
No. 22 as a result of this annexation.
4. No transfer of property tax revenues from properties within
a community redevelopment project shall be made during the period
that the entire tax increment is legally committed for repayment
of the redevelopment project costs. The 1985-1986 assessed valuation
shall be used as the tax base for future tax increment determinations
relative to this resolution.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Los Angeles, the Board of Directors of County
Sanitation District No. 22 and the governing bodies of the taxing
agencies signatory hereto.

Transfer Drain No. 1080 r descoibed in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WirREFS, the City is authorized and eraoaered to transfer and convey to the
Los Angeles County Flood Contrcl District any storm drain inprovemenrs and
drainage systema; for future cDeratien, maintenance, repair, arra improvement; arra
trFr%I-S, the City and the Los Angeles County Flood Control District entered
into an agreement dated July 1, 198o , and recorded September 30, 1980
as Doarnent Number 80-957599 , of the Official Records in the office of
the County Recorder for the County of Loos Angeles, whereby the City made certain
warranties about its future transfers and conveyances of Flood Control facilities
to the District; and

of the storm drain improvements and drainage system described in Exhibit A
attached hereto frau the City to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District
for future operation, maintenance, repair, and improvement,
NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City does hereby request the
Los Angeles County Flood Control District to accept the transfer and conveyance
of thN stone drain improvements and drainage system described in said Exhibit A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, subject to the acceptance thereof of the Board
of Supervisors of the Los Angeles Ceunty Flood Control District, the City
Engineer is directed and ordered to prepare•all necessary instruments and
documents, including deed, to effectuate said transfer and conveyance, and that
the Mayor is authorized and instructed to execute said deed and other instruments
and documents. District shall have no obligation or responsibility to maintain
said storm drain, improvements, and drainage until all rights of way for said
drain now vested in the City and all other necessary rights of way therefore
have been conveyed to and accepted by District.
Reference is hereby made to District Drawings -Nos. 470-9718-F-5.1 to 5.3 ,
the plans and profile of said storm drain improvements and drainage system on
file in the office of the City Engineer and on file in the office of the Chief
Engineer of said District for further data as to the exact location, extent,
and description of said storm drain improvements and drainage systen.
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the transfer and conveyance hereby requested are
subject to each of the warranties described in the Agreement between the City andl
the District dated July 1, 1980 , and recorded September 30, 1980 ,I
