A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA APPROVING THE APPLICATION AND THE
PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION
GRANT FUNDS FOR GLADSTONE HOUSE DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT FROM THE CALIFORNIA PARK AND RECREA-
TIONAL FACILITIES ACT OF 1984
WHEREAS, the Legislature under the California Park and Recreational
Act of 1984 has authorized the establishment of a Historic Preservation Grant
Program, providing matching funds to the political subdivisions of the State
for historic preservation projects; and
WHEREAS, the California Office of Historic Preservation in the
Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for the administration of
the program within the State, setting up necessary rules and procedures
governing application by local agencies under the program; and
WHEREAS, said adopted procedures established by the Department of
Parks and Recreations require the applicant to certify by resolution the
approval of applications and the availability of local matching funds prior
to submission of said applications to the State.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Azusa, City Council
hereby:
Section 1. Approves the filing of an application for the Historic
Preservation Grant assistance for project; and
Section 2. Appoints the City Administrator or his authorized deputy
as agent of the (City, County, or District) to coordinate, process, and
execute all contracts, agreements, amendments, and ancillary documents within
the scope of the attached application; and
Section 3. Agrees that all required local matching funds will be
provided for the project; and
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this
Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1985.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting thereof, held
on the 21st day of October , 1985, by the following vote of Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS CRUZ, COOK, CAMARENA, LATTA, MOSES
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS NONE
