CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. JUNE 28, 1937. 7:30 P. M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in special session at the above
time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Roll call.
Strohmeier, McIntire, Arnold, Carr,
City Clerk.
Absent: Councilman Chester and City
Attorney.
The "Notice of Special Meeting" and the Notice of special
' "Officer's Report" were read as follows: meeting.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a special meeting of the
City Council of the City of Azusa, State of California, IS
HEREBY CALLED to be held in the Council Chamber of said City
at the hour of 7:30 P. M. on Monday, June 28, 1937, for the
purpose of a discussion on tax values, also discussion and
any further action deemed necessary in the matter of the
purchase of electrical energy.

I hereby certify that I received the attached "NOTICE OF
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA"
at 3: 30 P. M, on the 28th day of June, 1937, and that I
served the same on the hereinafter named persons, who are
members of the City Council of -the said City of Azusa, at
the time set after their respective names, by personally
delivering to and leaving with said persons a true copy of
the attached "Notice of Special Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Azusa".

Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by
Councilman McIntire that the City Clerk be
authorized and instructed to write the
Manager of the City of Pasadena Water
Department relative to the Hydro Electric
Plant located in the San Gabriel Canyon,
requesting the sale price and an analysis
of same.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Strohmeier, McIntire,
Arnold, Carr.
Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Chester.
It was agreed by all members of the City
Council present, that the present assessed
values on the brush land and cultivated
land were fair and properly equalized, and
should be used as the values on which to
levy the 1937-38 City Tax,
City Clerk
instructed to
write City
Manager of the
Water Department
in the City of
Pasadena.
Agreed by City
Council that City
values are well
equalized.
