HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 78700 RESOLUTION NO. 7870 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING GARY TRUJILLO FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY. WHEREAS, whatever effervescent qualities of irenic optimism are available to a person whose professional occupation involves constant exposure to anger, fear, terror, pain and sorrow, in situations requiring immediate judgment and precise action, were possessed by GARY TRUJILLO during his employment by the City of Azusa, as a Reserve Police Officer from September 7, 1976 through October 15, 1985. His unflagging cheerful demeanor, his responsible devotion to duty, all marked the personal attributes of an outstanding employee, and WHEREAS, all of this points to the good fortune enjoyed by the City of Azusa through the presence of an employee of Gary's calibre. Now that he has departed, the only mitigating factor is that he, in pursuit of personal economic betterment, has found an advantageous entrepreneurial activity which guarantees him an almost certain measure of success; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, unites in commending GARY TRUJILLO for the excellent service he provided during his employment with the City, and further wishes him all possible success in his new field of endeavor. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of February, MAYO I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 3rd day of February, 1986, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: CRUZ, CAMARENA, LATTA, MOSES NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBEI?S: COOK CITY CLEAK
