A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA COMMENDING GARY TRUJILLO
FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY.
WHEREAS, whatever effervescent qualities of irenic
optimism are available to a person whose professional
occupation involves constant exposure to anger, fear, terror,
pain and sorrow, in situations requiring immediate judgment
and precise action, were possessed by
GARY TRUJILLO
during his employment by the City of Azusa, as a Reserve
Police Officer from September 7, 1976 through October 15,
1985. His unflagging cheerful demeanor, his responsible
devotion to duty, all marked the personal attributes of an
outstanding employee, and
WHEREAS, all of this points to the good fortune
enjoyed by the City of Azusa through the presence of an
employee of Gary's calibre. Now that he has departed, the
only mitigating factor is that he, in pursuit of personal
economic betterment, has found an advantageous entrepreneurial
activity which guarantees him an almost certain measure of
success;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA, unites in commending
GARY TRUJILLO
for the excellent service he provided during his employment
with the City, and further wishes him all possible success
in his new field of endeavor.
