RESOLUTION NO. 8001
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRICTIONS
AND PROHIBITIONS FOR CITY FACILITIES AND
PARKING LOTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 11.28.285
OF THE AZUSA MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa
hereby finds it necessary for the protection of the health,
safety and welfare of the community to impose the parking restric-
tions and prohibitions set forth in Section 2 hereof on City
parks, City library, City Hall, City buildings and municipal
parking lots, and that the City is authorized to impose such
restrictions pursuant to the provisions of Vehicle Code
Section 22519 and Section 11.28.285 of the Azusa Municipal Code
and other applicable law.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section
11.28.285, the parking restrictions and prohibitions applicable
to vehicles within the limits of any City park, City library,
City Hall, the grounds of any municipal building, or any municipal
parking lot are set forth on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by this reference as though set forth
in full.
SECTION 3. The regulations and prohibitions set forth
in Section 2 hereof shall be effective upon the posting of
appropriate signs designating such prohibitions or restrictions.
SECTION 4. Any automobile or vehicle parked or left
standing in violation of the restrictions or prohibitions set
forth in Section 2 shall be subject to being towed away in areas
which have been designated by permanent or temporary signs as
"tow -away zones" subject to the restrictions set forth in
Section 22651, et. seq., of the California Vehicle Code.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of April ,

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a
regular meeting thereof, held on the 15th day of April
1986, by the following vote of the Council:
