HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 81130 0 RESOLUTION N0, 8113 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That certain Grant of Easement executed by Jacqueline Smith Phelps under date of 14th day of March, 1986, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for electric utility purposes, including the right to construct, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace and remove all facilities therefor or connected therewith, in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: That portion of the Rancho Azusa finally confirmed to Henry Dalton, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown upon map recorded in book 2 pages 106 and 107 of Patents, in the office of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the easterly line of said Rancho with the easterly continuation of the curved northerly line of the 80 foot wide strip of land described in deed to the State of California, recorded in book 12230 page 230, Official Records of said County; thence westerly along said last mentioned line 192.9 feet, more or less, to the southwest corner of the land described in lease recorded in book M2591 pages 81-83, said point being the true point of beginning, thence northerly 125.70 feet more or less and easterly 190.00 feet along the westerly and northerly boundaries of the land described in said lease to the easterly line of said Rancho; thence northerly along said easterly line 50.00 feet; thence westerly at right angles to said easterly line 440.00 feet; thence southerly parallel with said easterly line to an intersection with the curved northerly line of said 80 foot wide strip of land; thence southeasterly along said line to the beginning." The easement shall be a five foot strip easement beginning at the northwest corner of above described property continuing south 20 feet, then turning east for 154 feet ending at a point 50 feet south of the northern property line at the major easterly property line of above described property. Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. Adopted and approved this 6th day of October , 1986.
