HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 80950 0 RESOLUTION NO. 8095 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING BILL CUNNINGHAM FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY. WHEREAS, On January 4, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-two, WILLIAM CUNNINGHAM entered into employment with the City of Azusa, as its Planning Director, and WHEREAS, during the course of his employment, his ability, personal and professional acumen bore fruit when he was promoted to the position of Director of Community Development, and WHEREAS, to quote an old adage: "He doth surely fill the bill, what with knowledge, tact and skill." Thus, is repaid the investment of thorough preparation and application, and WHEREAS, BILL CUNNINGHAM, stoutly with little fanfare and an agreeable absence of braggadocio, has excellently and efficiently performed all duties with which he has been charged. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, unites in commending an outstanding employee for the superlative manner in which he conducted himself, and further, since he has chosen to move on to other areas of endeavor, it wishes BILL CUNNINGHAM the best of good fortune in whatever endeavors he may enter into. ADOPTED this Second day of September, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-six. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 2nd day of September, 1986, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: CITY 49 RK AVILA, COOK, CRUZ, LATTA, MOSES NONE NONE
