HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 83309 RESOLUTION NO. 8330 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, COMMENDING DONALD F. CLARK FOR BEING SELECTED AS THE HONORED CITIZEN FOR THE YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-SEVEN. WHEREAS, humanity honors those who embody the qualities the masses yearn to possess, but don't, and WHEREAS, in our own niche in this World, we express our feelings of admiration, love and esteem for those special persons who through an exemplary life have earned their fellow Azusans' gratitude, through annual appointment as Honored Citizens, and WHEREAS, to most, the showplace for the two chosen persons is our local Golden Days Parade. That, in actuality is only the tip, as it were, of the iceberg. Our mutual identification and commitment to the community and to each other, extends far beyond public display. It exists in the internal security of a familial care for the well-being of all within the uniquely close-knit bonds of our community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, recognizing the value of such an instance of well-deserved rewarded honor, unites in commending DONALD F. CLARK an honored citizen for the 1987 Golden Days Celebration, further, congratulating him for the recognition he has received from a grateful community, inspired by the selfless devotion and dedication lavished by him on the community over his many years of giving of himself for the betterment of Azusa and its residents. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of November, 1987.
