RESOLUTION NO. 8216
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF COUNTY
AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE
MAINTENANCE OF THE SELECT SYSTEM OF STREETS
WITHIN THE CITY OF AZUSA
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated
certain monies to the City of Azusa as County Aid to Cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the
amount of $35,224.00 of said funds accrued to the City for the
above mention purpose; and
WHEREAS, all streets are included in the City's
currently approved Select System of Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE the City Council of the City of
Azusa resolves that:
1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested
to allocate $35,224.00 of the Aid to Cities
funds apportioned to the City for the
maintenance of those streets on the currently
approved Select System of Streets (excluding
State Highways), on file with the Department of
Public Works of Los Angeles County, and
incorporated herein by reference.
2. After the allocation is approved by the Board
of Supervisors and funds are available, the
County is requested to send such allocated
amount to the City. The City will begin using
the funds for the street maintenance according
to the terms of the allocation.
3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a
certified copy of this resolution to the Los
Angeles County Department of Public Works for
processing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April, 1987.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a
regular meeting thereof, held on the 20th day of April, 1987, by
the following vote of the Council:
