HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 8214RESOLUTION NO. 8214 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING REVISIONS TO THE SIGNAL SYSTEM ON FOOTHILL BLVD. BETWEEN TODD AVE. AND ALOSTA AVE. WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain monies to the City of Azusa as County Aid to Cities; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa desires to expend the amount of $16,000.00 of said funds accrued to the City for the purpose of installing equipment in the signal controllers at eight intersections along Foothill Boulevard in order to make the system compatible for time -based coordination, to be performed under the Fetsim program. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa resolves that: 1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate $16,000.00 of the Aid to Cities Funds apportioned to the City for the work specified above and to pay the amount to the City when claimed. 2. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works for processing. Passed and adopted the 20th day of April, 1987. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the following resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of April, 1987, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: AVILA, COOK, CRUZ, LATTA, MOSES NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
