HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 82010 • RESOLUTION NO. 8201 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING THOMAS MARTINEZ FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY WHEREAS, Twenty seven years ago, on February 10, 1960, to be specific, THOMAS MARTINEZ was employed by the City of Azusa. Since that time, TOM has unswervingly followed a steady path of fully committed maturation in his role as a Public employee, and WHEREAS, the above described career growth has also led to his becoming a source for calm, confident, trustworthy and masterful leadership. All who have come into contact with him can vigorously attest to these outstanding qualities which he possesses in lavishly abundant quantities, and WHEREAS, the City of Azusa as most favored recipient of his services has greatly benefitted through the enhancement of its operations by the participation of an outstanding employee of the mettle and calibre of TOM MARTINEZ. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, stands as one, to express its sincere gratitude as well as to extend its laudatory commendation to TOM MARTINEZ Furthermore, as TOM departs from the hitherto public and active employment which has occupied his life, to head into the Golden Years of retirement, secure in the knowledge that he has fully earned the peaceful reward of a time of rest; a time in which he can truly savor the fruits of his many years of labor. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 30th day of March, 1987.
