RESOLUTION NO. 8241
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA COMMENDING RON CLARK FOR HIS SERVICES
TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, Policemen, in a Democratic Republic, occupy a position of
ambivalence: when needed for assistance, they are loved;
but when an antagonistic position occurs, they are, to say
the least, unloved, and
WHEREAS, this societal pressure cooker was one occupied, here in Azusa
by RON CLARK from September First, Nineteen Hundred and
Sixty-nine, when he entered into City employment as a Policeman,
to the present, and
WHEREAS, over the years despite the stress, the frustrations and almost
constant crises, he has managed to retain optimistic elan,
bringing to his public and private relations a calm demeanor,
always displaying a fine sense of command in whatever situation
he found himself, and
WHEREAS since public employees, in general, live in a fish bowl, their
every move is exposed to open scrutiny, personnel of RON
CLARK'S mettle are to be prized. They bring a new dimension
to the public service arena;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Azusa unites
in extending to
RON CLARK
on this the occasion of his resignation from active municipal employment, its
collective commendation to him for a job well done, and further wishes him success
and happiness in his new endeavors.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 1st day of June, 1987.
