A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA VACATING PORTIONS OF SAN GABRIEL
AVENUEt PARAMOUNT AVENUE, AND THE ALLEY
BETWEEN AZUSA AVENUE AND SAN GABRIEL AVENUE
THE CITY OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 The City Council of the City of Azusa hereby
finds and declares as follows:
A. This vacation proceeding is being conducted pursuant to
Section 8334 of the Streets and Highways Code.
B. The areas to be vacated are depicted in Exhibit "A" and
are legally described in Exhibit "B".
C. The City of Azusa Planning Commission has considered
the street vacations described in this Resolution and
has determined that said vacation is consistent with
and in conformance with the Azusa General Plan and its
elements.
D. The City Council also finds that the portions of the
streets and alleys described in this Resolution are not
required for street or highway purposes.
Section 2 This Resolution of vacation supercedes
Resolution No. 8145 adopted by the Azusa City Council on December
1, 1986 and recorded as instrument number 86-1727435 with the
County of Los Angeles Recorder. This Resolution also supercedes
Resolution No. 8182 adopted by the Azusa City Council on March 2,
1987 and recorded as instrument number 87-356808 with the County
of Los Angeles Recorder.
Section 3 This Resolution makes minor corrections to
the legal descriptions recorded as part of the previous
Resolutions of Vacation. The corrections were necessary to
correspond with descriptions of the alley provided by the Title
Company and to more accurately reflect the abandoned right-of-
way.
Section 4 The City Council of the City of Azusa hereby
vacates the streets and alleys described in Exhibit "A" and
Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Specifically reserved from this vacation are easements for all
existing overhead and underground utilities.
Section 5 The City Clerk shall certify a copy of this
Resolution and transmit the same to the County Recorder for
recording. Upon recordation of this Resolution, the above
described areas shall no longer constitute a public street.
Section 6 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
PARCEL GALLEY BETWEEN AZUSA AVENUE AND SAN GABRIEL AVENUE SOUTH
OF THE FOOTHILL FREEWAY TO PARAMOUNT AVENUE)
That portion of that certain alley, 20 feet wide, shown upon and
dedicated by the map of Tract 13426, in the City of Azusa, as per
map recorded in Book 268 Page 40 of Maps, in the office of the
county recorded of Los Angeles County, which lies between the
southerly right-of-way line of the I-210 Freeway and the easterly
prolongation of the southerly line of lot 13 of Tract 13641 as
recorded in Book 328, Page 19 of maps in the office of said
county.
PARCEL B (SAN GABRIEL AVENUE AND PARAMOUNT AVENUE)
Beginning at the northwest corner of lot 14, of Tract No. 13641,
as recorded in Map Book 328, Pages 18 and 19, thence westerly N
89° 40' 00' W 8.00 feet; thence S 000 20' 57" W 92.70 feet to the
beginning of a curve concave northeasterly, having a radius of
28.00 feet; thence southeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 90' 00' 57" an arc distance of 43.99 feet;
thence S 890 40' 0011E 124.68 feet; thence N e 20' 0011E 2.33
feet; thence N 890-40'-00"W 124.68 feet to the beginning of a
curve concave northeasterly having a radius of 20 feet; thence
northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 900 00'
57" an arc distance of 31.43 feet; thence N 0'20' 5711E 87.03 feet
to the point of beginning.
