The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Strohmeier, Roll call. McIntire, Arnold, Chester, Carr, City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last regular meeting of Minutes approved. November 1, 1937 were read and approved as read. Moved by Councilman Strohmeier, seconded by Councilman Chester that same be granted. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Strohmeier, McIntire, Arnold, Chester, Carr. Noes: None. Absent: None. A notice of "Hearing before the State Board Notice of Hearing o'� Equalization" on Nick Jara's application by State Board of for On Sale Beer and Wine and 1937-38 Wine Equalization read. Bottling or Packaging License, was read. It was the sense of the meeting that the City Council, as a Committee of the Whole, to- gether with the City Attorney and Chief of Police attend said hearing on Wednesday, November 17, 1937 at 2:00 otclock, P. M. An application, presented by Gordon Kishbaugh, Application ordered for employment in the Police Department, was placed on file. read. Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by Councilman McIntire that same be accepted and placed on file. MUEHE Fire and Theft coverage on Fleet - $30.89 OWENS-VOSBURG INSURANCE AGENCY Fire and Theft coverage on Fleet - $93.53 Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by Councilman Arnold that the City Clerk be authorized to instruct Mr. Muehe to extend the coverage on Fire and Theft of City Fleet until the next meeting of the City Council; to ascertain the actual value of the Sea- grave fire truck and whether or not the equipment on the truck is covered in the figure submitted by the Insurance Companies; to request both Insurance Companies to submit, in writing, the highest appraisal of the truck and equipment; to instruct both Mr. Muehe and Mr. Owens to submit the premium price for earth quake damage to both the Seagrave truck and equipment; to request a letter from the Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company stating that they will be willing to pay the City of Azusa $16,000 in case of total loss of truck. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Strohmeier, McIntire, Arnold, Chester, Carr. Noes: None, Absent: None, License -Collector, Paul Smith, addressed the Council relative to business licenses and bonds, No action taken. ' Moved by Councilman Strohmeier, seconded by Councilman Arnold that the following requisitions be allowed: 1902 -1903 -1904- 1905 -1906 -1907 -1908 -1909 -1910-1911-1912- 1913-1914-1915-1916-1917-1918-1919-1920-1921. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: 'Strohmeier, McIntire, Arnold, Chester, Carr, Noes: None. Absent: None. Moved by Councilman Strohmeier, seconded by Councilman Chester that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same.
