A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSA APPROVING THE THREE YEAR COOPERATION
AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, CITY CLERK AND
CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Azusa has participated in the Urban
County Community Development Block Grnat Program since 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City has received approximately $4.4 million
for various community development projects which have principally
benefited low -and moderate -income persons; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to continue this cooperative
relationship for the period commencing July 1, 1988, through June
30, 1991.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the three
year participation agreement attached hereto as "Exhibit All
with the County of Los Angeles for the Community Development
Block Grant Program commencing July 1, 1988, through June
30, 1991.
Section 2. The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor,
City Clerk and City Attorney to executive said agreement for
transmittal to the County of Los Angeles.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 5th day of October, 1987 by the
