L M OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA PENAL CODE REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO THE TRAINING STANDARDS OF PUBLIC SAFETY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, the City of Azusa declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions of Section 13522, Chapter 1, of Title 4, Part 4, of the California Penal Code; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 13510(c), Chapter 1, the City of Azusa will adhere to standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.); and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 13512, Chapter 1, the commission and its representatives may make such inquires and deemed appropriate by the commission to ascertain that the Azusa Police Department public safety dispatcher personnel adhere to standards for selection and training established by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training. ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 3rd DAY OF October 1988, MAYOIZ I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at the regular meeting thereof, held on the 3rd day of October 1988, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: AVILA, STEMRICH, NARANJO, LATTA, MOSES NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
