HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 85340 0 RESOLUTION NO. 8534 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REVISING CIVIL SERVICE RULE 5.8.2 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Civil Service Rule 5.8.2 is revised to read as follows: All appointments, whether initial or promotional, shall be for a period of six months, except for Police Department positions --the probationary period of which shall be one year. The department head may request an extension for miscellaneous employees up to a period of six months with the authorization of the City Administrator. ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 7th day of November, 1988. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof on the 7th day of November, 1988, by the following vote of Council: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: AVILA, STEMRICH, NARANJO, LATTA, MOSES NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE CITY CLERK
