HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 87890 0 RESOLUTION 8789 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF THE PUBLIC STREETS AND ALLEYS KNOWN AS SUNSET AVENUE, ANGELENO AVENUEr SANTA FE AVENUE, AND THE ALLEY BETWEEN SAN GABRIEL AVENUE AND ANGELENO AVENUE NORTH FROM FOOTHILL BOULEVARD TO THE AT & SF RAILROAD THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa hereby declares its intent to vacate a portion of the public streets and alleys as more particularly described on Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and also on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Azusa. SECTION 2. The City Council's intent to vacate the subject streets and alleys is conditioned upon fulfillment of various obligations of the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa and CoastFed Properties dated June 20, 1988. SECTION 3. The City Council's intent is to cause the relocation of various public service and public utility systems in the subject streets and alleys which are necessitated by the DDA. SECTION 4. This vacation proceeding is being conducted pursuant to Sections 8320 through 8325 of the Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 5. A public hearing shall be held on this proposed vacation before the City Council on Tuesday, February 5, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard in the Council Chambers of the City of Azusa, located at 213 East Foothill Boulevard, Azusa, California. SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall publish this Resolution in the manner required by Sections 8320 and 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code and shall post notices of vacation in the manner required by Section 8323 of the Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 7. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 15th day of January , 1990. Eu ne F.
