CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. APRIL 4, 1938. 7:30 P. M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
regular session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Dickerson,
Strohmeier, McIntire, Arnold, Carr, City
Attorney and City Clerk.
The minutes of the last regular meeting of
March 21, 1938 were read and approved as read.
Communications from the following were read:
' Los Angeles County Flood Control, Pacific
Electric Railway Company, League of California
Municipalities, C. H. Howell, Chief Engineer,
Los Angeles County Flood Control.
Moved by Councilman McIntire, seconded by
Councilman Arnold and duly carried that same
be placed on file.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by
Councilman McIntire that the Mayor be author-
ized to sign a contract between the City of
Azusa and The Texas Company.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Dickerson, Strohmeier,
McIntire, Arnold, Carr.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
Councilman Arnold offered an Ordinance
entitled:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING Ordinance read
SCHEDULE D -1-B1 AND SCHEDULE D -1-B2 OF for first time.
ORDINANCE NO. 328 OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,
ENTITLED IIAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
' OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ESTABLISHING RATES TO
BE CHARGED FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE WITHIN THE
CITY OF AZUSA, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO.
307 AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.°
to be placed on its first reading.
This Ordinance was then read.

Mr. Morgan discussed, with the Council, the
matter of bringing into Azusa frame houses
now in the San Gabriel Canyon.
No action taken.
Moved by Councilman Dickerson, seconded by
Councilman Strohmeier that the following
requisitions be allowed:
1956 -1957 -1958 -1959 -1960-1961-1962-1963-1964-
1965-1966-1967-1968-1969-1970-1971.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:

McIntire, Arnold, Carr.
Noes : None. Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by

bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn
