HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 89080 • RESOLUTION NO. 8908 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. C-89-2 (CALIFORNIA TARGET ENTERPRISES, 710 SOUTH AZUSA AVENUE). THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA FINDS: A. The Council of the City of Azusa at its regular meeting of July 15, 1990, held a public hearing on Conditional Use Permit No. C-89-2, applied for by California Target Enterprises, relating to a mini -market with on -sale beer and wine from an existing non -conforming automotive service station located at 710 South Azusa Avenue, in a C-2 zone. B. Said hearing was properly noticed in accordance with the provisions of the Azusa Municipal Code. C. The Council has considered the report and recommendations of the Director of Community Development, Resolution No. 90-9 of the Planning Commission, and the evidence presented at such hearing. D. The Council is unable to make all of the findings specified in Section 19.60.120 of the Azusa Municipal Code. The Council of the City of Azusa resolves: 1. The application of California Target Enterprises, Inc. for a Conditional Use Permit as described above is hereby denied. This denial is based on the inability of the Council to make any of the requisite findings as specified in the Azusa Municipal Code and for the reasons expressly stated in Resolution No. 90-9 of the Planning Commission of the City of Azusa. 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall transmit certified copies to the applicant.
