A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF ITS
MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT REGARDING A
CITY MEASURE AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO PREPARE AN IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS.
WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election is to be held in
the City of Azusa, California, on April 14, 1992, at which there
will be submitted to the voters the following measure:
PROPOSITION NO.
ADVISORY VOTE ONLY:
SHALL THE CITY COUNCIL BE

ADVISED TO UNDERTAKE THE
PLANNING, FINANCING AND
CONSTRUCTION OF A YOUTH
RECREATIONAL FACILITY AND AN
ADJACENT INDOOR SWIMMING POOL
AT SLAUSON PARK WITHIN THE
NO
CITY OF AZUSA
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council authorizes
MAYOR EUGENE F. MOSES
MAYOR PRO -TEM HARRY STEMRICH
COUNCILMAN ANTHONY NARANJO
COUNCILMAN STEPHEN ALEXANDER
COUNCILMAN JOHN DANGLEIS
members of that body, to file a written argument in favor of the
City measure set forth in the recitals hereof in accordance with
Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 5 of the Elections Code of the
State of California and to change the arguments until and
including the date fixed by the City Clerk after which no
arguments for or against the City measures may be submitted to
the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. That the City Council directs the City Clerk
to transmit a copy of the measure to the City Attorney, unless
the organization or salaries of the office of the City Attorney
are affected. The City Attorney shall prepare an impartial
analysis of the measure showing the effect of the measure on
the existing laws and the operation of the measure. If the
measure affects the organization or salaries of the Office of
the City Attorney, the City Clerk shall prepare the impartial
analysis. The impartial analysis shall be filed by the date set
by the City Clerk for the filing of primary arguments.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this Resolution, shall enter the same in
the book of original Resolutions of said City and shall make a
minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records in the
proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of
the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.

I, ADOLPH A. SOLIS, CITY CLERK, of the City of Azusa, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 92-C7 was
regularly adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the
6th day of January ,1992, by the following vote of the
Council:
