RESOLUTION No. 92-C98
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AZUSAj CALIFORNIA CERTIFYING A NEGATIVE
DECLARATION FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
SECTIONS 19.63.020 AND 19.63.030 OF THE AZUSA
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ADULT BUSINESSES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the State CEQA guidelines, a
negative declaration, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A
and incorporated herein by this reference, has been prepared and
reviewed, finding that the proposed project could not have a
significant effect on the environment. The City Council hereby
certifies said negative declaration, with the provision that the
mitigation measures, if any, recommended in the initial study,
are implemented.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 7th DAY OF July 1992.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a meeting
thereof held on the 7th day of July 1992 by the
following vote of the Council:

III. DISCUSSION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION
8.b. The proposed project involves amending the Azusa Municipal
Code to revise the zoning regulations for adult businesses to bring
these regulations into conformance with recent legal decisions.

On the basis of this initial evaluation:
X I find the proposed project COULD NOT HAVE a significant
effect on the environment, and a NEGATIVE DECARATION has
been prepared and is attached.
I find that although the proposed project could have a
significant effect on the environment, there will not be a
significant effect in this case because the mitigation
measures described on an attached sheet have been added to
the project. A NEGATIVE DECLARATION WILL BE PREPARED.
I find the proposed project MAY have a significant effect
effect on the environment and an ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT is required.
