HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 93-C0510 0 RESOLUTION NO. 93-051 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING THE THREE YEAR COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, CITY CLERK, AND CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT. WHEREAS, the City of Azusa has participated in the Urban County of Los Angeles Community Development Block Grant Program since 1974; and WHEREAS, the City has received approximately $6.8 million for various community development projects which have principally benefitted low -and -moderate income persons; and WHEREAS, the City desires to continue this cooperative relationship for the period commencing July 1, 1994, through June 30, 1997. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa does hereby take the following actions: Section 1. Approves the three-year Participating City Cooperation Agreement attached hereto as "Exhibit A" with the County of Los Angeles for the Community Development Block Grant Program commencing July 1, 1994, through June 30, 1997. Section 2. Authorizes the Mayor, City Clerk, and City Attorney to execute said agreement for transmittal to the County of Los Angeles. PASSED AND APPROVED this 17th Floor 6 W 174 day of May 1993. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed, approved, and adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa, at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 17th day of May 1993 by the following vote of the Council: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: DANGLEIS, MADRID, NARANO, ALEXANDER, MOSES NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE ABSENT: OUNCILMEMBERS: NONE oe itv Clerk
