HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 93-C0500 0 RESOLUTION NO. -- 93-050 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AMENDING THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT RETENTION - DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS POLICY ADOPTED UNDER RESOLUTION NO. 8344 DATED DECEMBER 7, 1987 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa adopted Resolution No. 8344 dated December 7, 1987 approving the Finance Department Retention/Destruction of Records Policy; and WHEREAS, item 14 of Schedule II should be deleted from this category and a new Schedule XI should be added to read as follows: "Schedule XI These records must be kept for two years after settlement, after which they may be destroyed without microfilming: 1. Court Cases - Complete and Incomplete" NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Azusa as follows: Section 1. The City Council does hereby approve the amendment to the Finance Department's Retention/Destruction of Records Policy. Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of the resolution.
