A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA TO
PARTICIPATE WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES HOME PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the County has entered into a contract with the United States of America,
through its Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to execute the Home
Investment Partnership Program ("HOME Program") under the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1992, which is called the "Act"; and
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 53-703 and the Act authorize
County and operating agency to enter into this contract in furtherance of the HOME
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Azusa is desirous to participate in said program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Azusa does hereby take the following actions:
SECTION 1. Approve the County of Los Angeles HOME Program Reimbursable
Contract.
SECTION 2. Grant authority to the City Administrator to sign and execute the
HOME Contract for the City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
