RESOLUTION nO. _ 95 C-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ADOPTING
THE STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES AND
SELECTING PROJECTS FOR FUNDING FOR THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995-96
WHEREAS, the City of Azusa is participating under the County of Los Angeles
Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has considered and evaluated projects and programs
fulfilling important community needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has provided the opportunity for public input
regarding the City's Community Development Block Grant Program for the 1995-96
program year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Azusa
does hereby take the following actions:
SECTION 1. Select and approve the Proposed Statement of Objectives and
Projected Use of 21st Year CDBG Funds attached hereto as Exhibit A and submit the
approved projects to the Community Development Commission.
SECTION 2. Approve inclusion of additional unallocated 21st Year CDBG Program
and program income funds, based on HUD's final allocation decision, in the Housing
Rehabilitation Program.
SECTION 3. Approve inclusion of said projects in the City of Azusa Fiscal Year
1995-96 budget.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this resolution.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 6th day of Februarv, 1995.
