RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, CASTING ITS VOTE(S) FOR
COUNCILMEMBER LARRY GLENN OF GLENDORA
TO REPRESENT CITIES WITH PRESCRIPTIVE
PUMPING RIGHTS ON THE BOARD OF THE SAN GABRIEL
BASIN WATER QUALITY AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, on September 22, 1992, Senate Bill 1679 was signed into law by
Governor Pete Wilson authorizing the creation of the San Gabriel Basin Water
Quality Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Board of the San Gabriel Basin Water Quality Authority is
composed of five members with three appointed members from each of the three
municipal water districts, one elected city council person from cities in the San
Gabriel Basin with prescriptive pumping rights, and one elected city council
person from cities in the San Gabriel Basin without prescriptive pumping rights;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Azusa is one of the cities in the San Gabriel Basin
with prescriptive pumping rights: and
WHEREAS, the City of Azusa may cast its vote(s) for a representative by
resolution no later than October 16, 1995 at 5:00 p.m.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY
FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa casts its full vote(s)
for Counci 1 member Larry Glenn of Glendora as the representative for cities in the
San Gabriel Basin with prescriptive pumping rights.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of October, 1995.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City
Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 2nd day
of October, 1995, by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBER: HARDISON, MADRID, NARANJO, BEEBE, ALEXANDER
NOES: COUNCILMEMBER: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBER: NONE
