CITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. APRIL 10, 1939. 12:30 P. M.
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in
Special Session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Malone,
Strohmeier, Arnold, City Attorney and City
Clerk, Roll Call
Absent: Councilmen: Jumper, Owens.
The Notice of Special Meeting and Officer's
report were read as follows:
TO WHOM IT MAX CONCERN:
PLEASE TARE NOTICE that a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Azusa, State of California, IS HEREBY CALLED to be
held in the Council Chambers of said City at the hour of 12:30
o'clock on Monday, April 10, 1939 for the purpose of adopting a
Resolution permitting the County of Los Angeles to make a Real
Property Survey within the City limits of the City of Azusa, and
to transact any other business which may properly come before the
Council.

I hereby certify that I received the attached "NOTICE OF SPECIAL
MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA" at 8:55 A. M. on
the 10th day of April, 1939, and that I served the same on the
hereinafter named persons, who are members of the City Council of
the City of Azusa, at the time set after their respective names, by
personally delivering to and leaving with said persons a true copy
of the attached "NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF AZUSA".

Mayor Arnold reported that Councilman Jumper had
been contacted and expressed his approval of the
call of the Special Meeting.
Moved by Councilman Strohmeier, seconded by Council-
man Malone and duly carried that the Council proceed
with the Special Meeting and this action be presented
to Council at a regular meeting thereof to be held
on April 17, 1939, for ratification.
' Councilman Strohmeier offered a Resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA
ALLOWING THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO MAKE A REAL PRO-
PERTY SURVEY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA.
Moved by Councilman Strohmeier, seconded by Councilman
Malone that this Resolution be adopted as read and
numbered Resolution No, 1607.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Malone, Strohmeier, Arnold.
Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen: Owens, Jumper.

Strohmeier and duly carried that the Council adjourn,
City Clerk of the/City of Azusa.
